We're looking for a full-time Payroll Coordinator to join our award-winning team! Position
Summary:
Under the direction of the facility's Controller - the Payroll Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of professional accounting work with emphasis on technical tasks related to the completion of payroll and payroll related financial reports in an efficient, accurate, and confidential manner.
Responsibilities:
Processes and maintain payroll and benefit information into the payroll software system for all employees and communicate with supervisors as needed for; wages, exemptions, insurance coverage, deductions, job titles, department transfers, terminations, etc.
Processes bi-weekly payroll using payroll related software applications and all related payroll functions including but not limited to collecting time clock data, processing time clock corrections, processing tax and other benefit withholdings, calculating various rates of pay such as overtime and bonuses, paid time off and other applicable disbursements, and balancing, entering and transmitting payroll timely and accurately.
Performs payroll accounting activities by balancing paycheck deliveries, balancing PTO banks and distributing payroll reports.
Communicates payroll discrepancies to supervisor and coordinates resolution of discrepancies with the payroll software vendor and/or employees.
Provides facility executives with payroll information, reports and analysis upon request.
Participates in Employee Benefit Enrollment Process.
Maintains knowledge of company benefits including options, eligibility and applicable policies and procedures.
Reviews with employees the company benefit materials upon change of employment status, answers questions, completes forms and forwards to appropriate departments.
Performs open enrollment activities as directed, which may include:
employee notification, collecting/tracking of insurance enrollment forms and /or changes of forms, review and forwarding of all insurance benefit information for processing in an accurate and timely manner.
Provide customer service to all employees regarding concerns with payroll and benefits, employment verifications, communicating directly with employees as appropriate in a courteous, professional manner.
Maintains control of facility payroll files and information with strict confidentiality.
Ensures compliance and adheres to company's policies relating to processing of wages and paid time off.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements:
Knowledge and experience with ADP (or similar) payroll database is a MUST.
Ability to analyze, organize and attend to detail Accurate data entry skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain employee and facility confidentiality Ability to prioritize duties and consistently meet deadlines Ability to work independently and take initiative Demonstrate flexibility in handling multiple projects Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel is a MUST Strong customer relations skills Ability to exercise mature judgment when problem solving and recommending solutions Job Type:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
