Soul Studio, a division of Friendship Circle, is looking for a Facilitating Artist to join its team.
At Soul Studio, adult student-artists with special needs have the opportunity to be introduced to a variety of traditional and contemporary art making processes.
The Facilitating Artist works with student-artists to bring out the innate creativity of their soul.

Manage and teach Soul Studio artists.
Oversee the specific medium's workstation, keeping it organized,clean, and safe.
Track and order materials.
Ensure that the student-artists are progressing in their technical skills and artistic abilities by keeping them engaged during studio hours and documentation of the artists project(s) and day.
Who you'll work with:
Adults with special needs, 18 and over, who are interested in creative exploration in a variety of art mediums.
Local Artists, just like you, who are passionate about their craft and have an unconditional love for people.
What we're looking for:
Experience or expertise in one or more mediums of art:
fabrics, ceramics, woodworking, painting.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organization skills.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred.
