We are seeking an experienced and motivated Vocational Trainer Lead to oversee and manage our vocational training program for adults with special needs.
The Vocational Trainer Lead will play a key role in designing and implementing comprehensive training programs, supervising vocational trainers, and ensuring the successful integration of participants into the workforce.
This position requires a passion for empowering individuals with special needs, and a commitment to excellence in vocational training.
Responsibilities:
Program Coordination and Administration:
Manage program logistics, including participant enrollment, scheduling of training sessions, and coordination of resources and accommodations.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate scheduling, workload distribution, and performance evaluation of vocational trainers.
Conduct assessments, provide feedback, and offer coaching and support to participants to enhance their job readiness and performance.
Community Engagement and Partnerships:
Build and maintain relationships with employers, vocational agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders to create employment opportunities and promote inclusivity in the workforce.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of vocational assessment tools, job coaching techniques, and best practices in working with individuals with special needs.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and empower a team.
Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including participants, families, staff, and community partners.
