Dry Eye Healing Institute Dry Eye Healing Institute West Bloomfield Township, MI West Bloomfield Township, MI Part-time Full-time Part-time Full-time $19 - $26 an hour $19 - $26 an hour 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Duties - Assist healthcare providers with documenting patient encounters in real-time - Accurately and efficiently enter medical information into electronic health records (EHR) - Transcribe medical reports, including patient history, physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and complete documentation - Manage and organize medical records, including filing and retrieving documents as needed - Prepare and update patient charts with relevant medical information - Monitor and record vital signs during patient visits Requirements PREFERRED TO KNOW NEXTECH INTELLECHART PRO SYSTEM FOR SCIRIBING EMR - Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Familiarity with coding systems and medical billing practices - Experience providing medical administrative support in a hospital or clinic setting - Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times Please note that this position does not involve direct patient care or medication administration.
